Diana Saxton
Textile Artist
A studio based artist and tutor, Diana transforms wool fleece into felt accessories and unique clothing. In addition to this she sketches and makes art employing a broad range of textile disciplines.
Diana trained, worked and tutored as a professional dressmaker before achieving a Bachelor of Visual Arts. This training and experience as both artist and craftsman brings to her work robust conceptual development as well as quality hand workmanship.
Diana has returned to Sydney after 22 years in country Victoria. Now based in Newport Beach, Sydney she finds inspiration in the natural beauty and cultural interest of her surrounds.
Diana enjoys gardening, family, faith, food and all things French or Japanese.
